There is no separate Telangana State mode inside Ecole
The same is true here as for any other board: Ecole does not carry a special code path that switches on for a Telangana State school. An exam scheme, FA1 through SA3, maximum marks, weightage, is configuration entered for one school for one academic year, on the same screen a CBSE school or a school on no board at all would use. What follows is a Telangana State (SSC) shaped starting point, not a rule fixed in the software for every school in the state.
Two presets ship today: this one, and a CBSE-shaped preset described on its own page. Both exist so a school does not have to build an exam scheme from a blank sheet on day one, and both are meant to be checked, not trusted blindly. Schools running the SSC pattern use Ecole as school management software that keeps FA and SA marks, attendance and fees under one roof, not three different spreadsheets.
The Telangana State (SSC) preset: FA1 to SA3
Applying this preset to an academic year fills in seven exam types in the pattern below: four formative assessments and three summative ones, each with its own maximum mark and weightage.
| Exam type | Maximum marks | Weightage |
|---|---|---|
| FA1 | 20 | 5% |
| FA2 | 20 | 5% |
| SA1 | 80 | 20% |
| FA3 | 20 | 5% |
| FA4 | 20 | 5% |
| SA2 | 80 | 20% |
| SA3 | 80 | 40% |
Grading: ten bands, worked out at the moment you look
The preset also fills in a ten point grading system, shown below with a grade point against each band.
| Grade | Percentage range | Grade point |
|---|---|---|
| A1 | 92 to 100 | 10 |
| A2 | 83 to 91 | 9 |
| B1 | 75 to 82 | 8 |
| B2 | 67 to 74 | 7 |
| C1 | 60 to 66 | 6 |
| C2 | 51 to 59 | 5 |
| D1 | 41 to 50 | 4 |
| D2 | 35 to 40 | 3 |
| E | 0 to 34 | 0 |
As with CBSE, a grade is calculated at the moment something asks for it, not stored beside the mark. Change a boundary for next year and every report card already printed keeps reading the way it did the day it was printed.
The same edge rule applies here as everywhere in Ecole: a percentage sitting exactly on the line between two bands belongs to the lower one. A mark that works out to 82.0 percent falls in B1, not A2, and the grid shows why rather than leaving a teacher to argue about it.
Continuous evaluation entered once, by the right person
Formative and summative marks are entered on the same keyboard-first grid used for any exam type in Ecole: type a mark, move on, save. This is continuous evaluation software for Telangana schools built the same honest way as everything else here: a mark above the maximum for that assessment and that subject is refused as it is typed, naming the child and the part it belongs to. A subject teacher enters marks only for their own subjects and their own sections, and can save partway through an FA and finish it later without losing what is already in.
Telugu medium, English medium: sections you name, nothing more
If a school runs Telugu medium and English medium in parallel, Ecole does not track medium as a feature of its own. A medium is a section, or a group of sections, named the way the school already names them: 6-A could be Telugu medium and 6-B English medium, and both are sections like any other, holding students, taking attendance and entering marks through the same screens. There is no separate medium-tracking layer behind the scenes; the naming does the work.
Report cards printed for a whole SSC section
The report card is built in your school's own layout, with your logo, during onboarding, not left for a school to design in a template editor. It comes out as a PDF, and a class teacher prints a whole section in one action. Remarks a class teacher writes reach the printed card alongside the FA and SA marks and the grade the scheme has worked out.
Applying the preset once, correctly
A school admin or correspondent applies the Telangana State preset to an academic year once. If exams already exist for that year, applying it again is refused rather than merged in behind the scenes. Corrections to a maximum mark or a weightage are made directly in the configuration, and everyone who touches that year, from the subject teacher entering an FA mark to the principal watching the section move through the year, sees the same numbers.
This runs the same way for every role who touches the year: a subject teacher entering an FA mark, a class teacher printing the SSC report card, a fee accountant closing a day-book that has nothing to do with exams at all, and a principal watching a section move through FA1 to SA3 without asking anyone to explain the numbers behind it. One configuration, one place it lives, one set of grades everybody sees when they look.
